The region

Departure point for many excursions to the Cevennes in the West, Provence in the South-East and Languedoc in the South-West.

Ideal for combining tourism (Uzes, Pont du Gard, Nimes, Orange, Avignon, Ardeche Gorges: Vallon Pont d'Arc, …), gastronomy (wine cellars and Castles of the Cotes du Rhone, …) or sporting activities (canoeing in the Ceze Valley or the Ardeche Gorges, horse riding available throughout the region, visits of the valley on quad bikes, …).

A large choice of cultural events:

• theatre with the Avignon Festival in July,
• opera with the Choregies in Orange,
• dance with the Festival of Vaison-la-Romaine,
• music with the Nuits Musicales of Uzes,
• not to mention the great many museums, exhibitions and historic sites in the region.
